This product is a reagent used to test unprocessed chicken meat for the presence of carcass meat. Carcass chicken refers to chickens that have died without being slaughtered. Chickens often die during transportation due to overcrowding and high temperatures. The meat from such carcasses may appear fresh (not yet spoiled) or may already be spoiled. Fresh carcass chicken meat can still be detected as positive for carcass contamination using Durante.
