COFFEE BEANS
Coffee Production Process

In this initial phase, green coffee beans from farmers are fed into an automated sorting machine. This machine accurately separates the beans by size, shape, and color, removing any defective or substandard ones. The goal is to efficiently and quickly obtain the highest quality green beans.

After sorting, the green beans are roasted. This process will produce three distinct flavor profiles based on your plan:
Light Roast: A quick roast at a lower temperature, resulting in a brighter, more acidic flavor that preserves the coffee bean's original characteristics.
Medium Roast: Roasted at a medium temperature, this creates a balanced flavor profile with good body and aroma.
Dark Roast: Roasted at a high temperature, this results in oily beans with a more intense, smoky, and bitter flavor.

This stage is crucial to ensure your product meets the necessary standards. The QC process is divided into two parts:
Standard QC: This phase follows SNI (Indonesian National Standard) and ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management System guidelines. It ensures that the coffee beans meet the physical, chemical, and microbiological requirements for export.
In-Process QC (Cupping): Regular taste and aroma tests are conducted. A team of experts will perform cupping to ensure that the flavor profile and consistency of each coffee batch are maintained.

In the final stage, the QC-approved coffee beans are packaged. This process also adheres to ISO standards to guarantee the safety and quality of the product is maintained for an extended period. Proper packaging protects the coffee beans from air, light, and moisture, which are factors that can degrade the flavor.
